Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette. The 1982 Chevrolet Corvette is the last of the C3 Corvettes ending almost a 15-year reign of smooth and sexy curves. With a low number of Corvettes for sale that were produced during the 1982 model year the last year of the C3. Powering this Vette is an epic 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. The 82 Corvettes adopted a Cross-Fire Injection system to become the first fuelie Vette since 1965. The fuel injection system looks like a cross-ram set-up giving the engine bay quite an aesthetically pleasing appeal. The Cross-Fires higher level of sophistication added 10 horsepower. Chevrolet also got rid of the 4-speed manual transmission and went strictly with the 4-speed automatic transmission for the year. This would be the first time since 1954 you could only buy a Corvette with an automatic transmission only. The Factory console is in place and equipped with the original 4 Speed Auto shifter. Nice original seat belts and shoulder restraints.
