The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

Classic Car Overview

While the 1982 Chevrolet Corvette was the first year for fuel injection across the whole lineup, this one does it with a much meaner stroker motor upgrade. In fact, the details reveal plenty of receipts that show how this final-year C3 unleashes a ton of power on the streets. And as powerful as this feels, its still a true cruiser with overdrive, Bluetooth, and cold-blowing A/C. These later C3s gave you some cool features, like the factory two-tone paint. Claret Red and Silver is the factory-correct color combo, and its nicely detailed with a pinstripe creating a well-defined separation and highlights the flared fenders. This is a Corvette with plenty of driver-friendly upgrades and so the paint and body have a driver-quality impression. That means the car looks good but its not a perfect example that will make you nervous about the loose gravel in the road. Instead, this one looks like it wants to own the blacktop with aggressive features like the well-integrated factory spoiler and an upgraded louvered hood vent. And the 17-inch alloys not only allow you to fit better modern tires, but you know they look good when they catch a hint of the moonlight on a Saturday night run. Theres more of that silvery gray inside, and now its joined by a tasteful black. Its a stylish look, and just like the exterior, the main priority is about being a better driver. So you have an upgraded set of Corbeau racing bucket seats. These join stock features like a tilt/telescopic steering column, a full gauge panel prominently mounted in the center, and a large speedo and tach directly in front of you. But you also want your performance classic to be a great all-around cruiser, and so you also have features like cold-blowing air conditioning (with a newer compressor), power windows, power locks, power steering, rear defogger, cruise control, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. And of course, the T-tops make for an awesome wind-in-your-hair experience whenever you want. The engine bay has the tidy style and high polish accessories to really let you know its something special. It was upgraded in 2017 to a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 built by the masters at BluePrint Engines. It was a professional shop installation that now includes desirable features like aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and a FAST electronic fuel injection system with a digital controller mounted on the windshield. Youll also spot good supporting components like a March pulley system and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. And the exhaust was upgraded to a true full exhaust system - a rarity on the 82 models. This is a meaner power package, and so the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission was upgraded with a B&M torque converter and Tuff Stuff shift kit. The driving experience is also exceptional with the fully independent sports suspension, grippy ZR-rated tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors. The sale comes with a ton of documentation including the factory buildsheet, owners manual, title documentation, maintenance records, build receipts, and restoration photos. Theres even a car cover. It all makes for a final-year C3 that has the right mix of true power and vintage flair. Call today!!!
