This was my father-in-laws car-show Camaro. He was only the 3rd owner and meticulously took care of it since he bought it in 2007. This car has ZERO rust - its the cleanest Z28 you will find anywhere.

The Provenance
I have a massive "paper trail" for this car that stays with the buyer, including:
- Original 1982 Window Sticker: Sold new at Goff Chevrolet in New Hampshire.
- Rare Specs: Special ordered with Power Windows but No AC and a Factory 4-Speed Manual Transmission (less than 10% of '82 Z28s were manuals).
- Glass T-Tops: In Great shape
- Well preserved: Rusty Jones Rust Proofing done at the time of sale at the dealer (documentation included). Always adult driven, never driven in the snow.
- Known History: Extensive records from previous long-term owners, including a detailed history from its time in Minnesota before coming to Wisconsin.

My father-in-law had a huge binder about the car that comes with it. I'll even throw in his Camaro enthusiast button up shirt.

Crate Engine Swap
The biggest complaint about 3rd Gens was the underpowered stock engine. The original, underpowered 145hp engine was replaced with a GM 350 Crate Engine (documented installation by Rensfelds Auto). Receipts and paper trail included.
- Engine: GM 350ci V8 Crate (Part #10067353).
- Upgrades: New clutch kit, motor mounts, and modified carb jetting for optimal performance.
- Transmission: Original 4-speed manual shifts tight and handles the extra torque beautifully.
- Recent Maintenance: Over $1,400 spent in Oct 2025 at Full Circle Restorations in Madison for a complete brake system overhaul (new calipers, hoses, pads, and fluid).

Condition
- Exterior: Show-winning condition. Deep paint, original removable glass roof panels (T-Tops), and iconic Z28 styling.
- Interior: Very clean Maroon vinyl bucket seats. Dash and plastics are in excellent shape for the age.
- Awards: This car has won its class in local car shows and consistently turns heads.
