VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

Classic Car Overview

1981 Volkswagon Vanagon Custom Buildout!! Fit to include full size bed, two storage areas within van, yakima roof rack holding 3ea 200w solar panels, arb awning with light, yakima 10 gallon pressurized shower, spare tire and additional space for baggage/tools. Van includes new Kenwood sound system with bluetooth, electric alarm system with unlock/lock key fob, GoWesty shift knob extension + dash cover, and a new ceiling upholstery from front to back. Van was original passenger style but in rough shape when I received. Fully striped van down and re-insulated all walls and floors, added three layers of sound deadening, new walling and wallpaper, 100% chemical-free vinyl flooring, GoWesty bra, new Hakkapeliitta tires 195r15c (no longer made, very rare), custom curtains and curtain rods (much better than original curtains or anything aftermarket). Solar is ready to be hooked up to whatever you like, with + & - ready to go. I have most of the needed accessories to get a 12v system operating, minus the battery. Taken the van out camping nearly monthly with no problems, year around in the Southern California region. These cars are not going to get cheaper, secure one while you can. Odometer was not working when I received but mechanic said the compression was in excellent shape and most of the other major work has been improved in the last couple of years. The interior/exterior is in excellent shape. Car is fully registered. 1981 volkswagen vanagon condition: excellent cylinders: 4 cylinders drive: fwd fuel: gas odometer: 168758 odometer broken paint color: yellow title status: clean transmission: manual type: bus Please Note The Following Vehicle Location is at our clients home and Not In Cadillac, Michigan.
