1981 Toyota Land Cruiser

This 1981 Toyota BJ42 Diesel Landcruiser (left hand drive) underwent restoration in Canada and was then imported by the previous owner. Under my ownership since 2017, I have made the following upgrades: Electric Power Steering, front bumper with new, never used Warn 8274 winch with synthetic cable, Retrosound stereo with rear speakers and subwoofer (removed in pictures), USA instrument cluster (mph), headliner, and new wheels with BFG 33x10.50 Mud Terrain tires. In Canada, an aluminum tub and front fenders as well as an Old Man Emu suspension were installed. I do not know many details about the restoration but was told that there were approximately 125K kilometers (78K miles) on the engine. I have added about 2,000 miles. This Landcruiser works great. It is fun to drive, and is a head-turner. The engine runs strong and has lots of torque. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts easily, and the suspension works well. Unfortunately there is some paint fading on the hood, and the plastic cover on the winch was cracked during shipping when I purchased it new.
