This car is a faithful vision to the clean original look while significantly improving stock performance. The restoration and modification process took place between 2010 and 2013. All the work was done at Formula Motorsports, whom have been serving Porsche enthusiasts exclusively since 1966 in the NYC area. Much of the car was redone, including full engine rebuild and reseal, repaint of the entire exterior in original Grand Prix White, PMO carbs replacing with CIS, transmission rebuild including adding short gears and limited slip, aftermarket free-flowing exhaust with a very unique note, upgraded oil cooler system, high tension torsion bars and Bilstein shocks, rare sport seats from the Sonderwusch Program, high quality upgraded black leather interior, RS door panels with red pull, Focal subwoofer and speakers, tastefully painted Fuchs wheels, aluminum floorboard and pedals, radar detector, upgraded aftermarket A/C and more! This Targa has a recent Dyno reading of 197 HP at the wheels consistent with about 250 bhp at the crank, 40% increase from stock. More recent service work includes $14,000 of documented work including new starter, refurbishing of fan housing, new battery, repair of gearbox, valve adjustment, cleaning of carbs, spark plugs and more.
