Classic Car Overview

1981 Ferrari 400i, 5-speed manual transmission, only 34k original miles, this example is one out of only 422 with 5-speed manual transmissions, this European-market example was fitted with California smog equipment back when it was imported (1983) and passes the current California smog requirements. Less than 3k miles on a complete engine-out service in addition to having new dual ANSA exhaust and new catalytic converters installed. This car has been in the current owners name for over 20 years. The prior owner, a doctor and a Ferrari enthusiast was a judge in Monterey California for years and needed a four seater to take his sons to the events. This example has been well taken care of by us, the last two Southern California owners. The has its original paint and interior the paint is smooth and
shiny but has some crazing and fading as most 43 year old exterior paints do. The two mechanical items that have been changed out: A MSD electrical ignition (6420) has been added and the starter motor has been switched out. The fluids have been serviced for the sale. Original tool kit and jack, along with original floor mats and two car covers, spare rim and tire. More info, photos and videos upon request, a 400i like this dose not come around very often, especially one that passes smog in California. Great running and gorgeous car.
