1981 Excalibur Series IV

Hand crafted American luxury car, not a replica, factory built in Milwaukee - Wisconsin, the Series IV Excalibur was introduced in 1980 with a newly designed body style resembling the famous prewar Mercedes 540K compared with its predecessor that has a Mercedes SSK body design. A new chassis for the series IV that is 13 inch longer then the Series III, also new was the 5.0L - 305ci V8 motor paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This white Excalibur for sale here was built in 1981 and spent its life mostly in southern California. New Coker Classic wide white wall radial tires, runs, drives and stops as it should, power steering, power brakes, power windows and seats, AC, clean interior and clean spacious trunk, leather seats, leather spacious rear bench and matching door panels, tilted steering wheel, center console, glove box, classic instrumentation and working BlauPunkt Stereo. Prewar style headlights in working condition as well as the side spot lamps, features a big size Mercedes 540K 1930's style front grill and solid Excalibur hood ornament, vintage dual horn trumpets - 4 pieces, very elaborate polished aluminum heavy duty bumpers and 6 real wire wheels in beautiful condition, dual spare covers matching the white body, chrome is nice and shiny all around this neoclassic automobile, louvered aluminum split hood and split windshield, optic supercharged pipes on both sides, solid running boards with wooden trim and a lot more to be mentioned. The powertrain is GM, easy to find parts and easily serviced, car comes with a Excalibur/Camelot assembly manual & parts catalog, 5.0L - 305ci V8 engine paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission in good working order. Removable convertible hard top - nicely white padded to match the exterior, comes with a convertible top boot as seen in the pictures - matching the interior upholstery, paint is nice but not new, car was built almost 45 years ago, a 7 out of 10, some rock chips and white touchups along with other signs of wear and age that are normally found on preowned older vehicles, although looks very nice but not new or perfect.
