Numbers matching, L81/350 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 12,452 miles on the dash (title is exempt for mileage), black leather interior, power steering, power brakes, A/C, adjustable sport mirrors, AM/FM/CD radio, alloy wheels, power windows, tilt & telescopic steering column, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, original air cleaner assembly, original valve covers, original ignition shielding, and much more.
We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the motor mount, right front brake caliper, upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar links, power steering hoses, thermostat and gasket, and much more.
The previous owners replaced the trailing arms, adjustable strut rods, emergency brake cable, rebuilt the rear end, and much more recently.
1981 was the last year for a carburetor on the corvette. It was also the first year for a computer in a corvette. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant. GM only produced 6,387 White corvettes out of 40,606 total production in 1981.
