1981 Chevrolet Corvette

This 1981 Corvette is a strong example of the last carbureted C3, and it presents very well for its age. The car has been resprayed in gloss black with white pinstriping, giving it a clean, classic look. It rides on its factory aluminum wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires, which suit the car perfectly. The glass mirror T-tops are in great condition; the pop-up headlights operate as they should. All exterior lights work properly, and the chrome exhaust tips finish it off nicely. Inside, the interior has held up well for its age. The seats appear to have been reupholstered at some point and present nicely. The windshield wipers function properly, and overall, its a comfortable and driver-friendly cabin. The only items not currently working are the radio and the blower motor, which is pretty minor for a car of this era. Under the hood is the L81 5.7L 350 V8, rated at 190 horsepower, backed by a TH350 automatic transmission. The car shows 67,608 actual miles, supported by a clean Carfax and title. Mechanically, this Corvette has had a complete suspension and brake rebuild, including all new brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, new brake calipers, new upper and lower control arms, new rear leaf springs, sway bar and end links, rear trailing arms, all new U-joints, and new emergency brake cables.
