We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, four shocks, sway bar links, idler arm, trailing arm bushings, leaf spring rubbers, emergency brake cable, and much more.

This corvette runs and drives strong with plenty of power from the original drivetrain.

In 1981, GM produced over 40,000 Corvettes, only produced 2,522 in dark blue.
