Numbers matching, L81/350 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, camel leather interior, 14,000 miles on the dash (title is exempt for mileage), power steering, power brakes, power windows, adjustable sport mirrors, A/C, AM/FM Radio, tilt and telescopic steering column, alloy wheels, original air cleaner assembly, and more.
We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the left upper control arm bushings, sway bar links, and much more.
We drove this corvette about a half hour home.
In 1981, GM produced over 40,000 Corvettes, only 5,757 of which were 4 speeds and only 4,310 in red. 1981 was the last year for the 4 speed transmission in a Corvette.
