The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview
1981 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe $21,000
Reduced $11,500 below my cost!! Unique Corvette survivor. One of the first 2,200 Corvettes ever made at the new Bowling Green, KY plant in the last week of July 1981, where millions have now been made. 1 of first 80 Corvettes ever given a two tone job, designated as experimental validated by the paint code tag. This Vette is in very good condition both mechanically and appearance wise. Engine performance has been enhanced by AMR Automotive in Baton Rouge, by adding Doug's ceramic headers and side exhaust pipes, a high performance Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carburetor, an MSD high performance distributor and plug wires, and K&N filter. Some tasteful chrome has been added in a very clean engine compartment. AMR also performed a front suspension rebuild, added Bilstein shocks all around, a total brake rebuild, and changed the transmission filter replace all fluids and checked all gearing and linkages. Vehicle is dent free and accident free per my knowledge and research. T-Tops are unscratched. Interior is in very good condition as well, with a crack free dash, great carpet, split free seats, and good electronic mechanics (windows, mirrors, gauges). As with all carbureted engines, this Sunday driver takes a little warming up (a mile or so) before it gets into "kick butt" mode. New battery and starts easily. Sounds as good as it looks. Gets a lot of attention and is ready to be shown in local car shows. I have a lot more money in this project than I am asking. Time for a new project/toy. I'm ready for an offer.
