This 1981 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale is just a flat out great looking classic pickup. It wears a super-sharp 2-tone color scheme over its rugged third generation C10 exterior and appears fresh and vital from every angle. The early 80s seem awfully appealing when this sturdy truck pulls up to report for duty. Dressed up in a two-tone gray and silver metallic color scheme, it has a tasteful, vibrant look to it that will have you rightfully convinced its ready for action. The paint really looks nice - it has a great shine to it, especially when out in the sun, as well as a uniformly smooth texture. A quick lap around will tell you its body alignment is very much up to par as well - the cab transitions nicely into the bed area in back and both the hood and doors open and shut smoothly while being surrounded by tight, even gaps. The squared off, geometric front grille sits over a clean bumper, while just below, the spoiler adds a nice custom touch. Come around to the back and youll see that the Chevrolet badging on the lift gate really pops against its chrome colored background. The finishing details are well looked after here, too - the cabin sports clear glass, with front and rear windshields surrounded by fresh rubber and all badging appears to be on point. Inside, the refurbished interior is looking sharp. At its center is a revitalized bench seat likely added not long ago, judging from its fresh appearance. Covered in black vinyl and showing no creasing or other signs of wear, its plushly padded, offers comfortable support for even long trips and sits over fresh carpet thats punctuated with a pair of floor mats. Additional interior comfort and convenience features include cruise control, an air conditioning system that was installed only about three months back and is running at the top of its game, and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo with both satellite connectivity and an auxiliary port to connect additional audio sources of your choosing. In back, the bed area is well-protected by an extra thick, textured liner thats obviously done its job well - theres no marked scuffs or any other signs of shifting cargo inside its walls. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and the 350 cubic inch V8 sitting at its center is as fresh as can be, having only logged about 3,000 miles since its build. Its armed with a 4-barrel Holley carb for added power, as well as a pair of chrome Edelbrock valve covers and a chrome air cleaner for looks sake. With Flowmaster mufflers added to the mix, the powerplant sends a great note out of the chrome exhaust tips peeking out just the right amount in back and pairs with a freshly rebuilt TH350 3-speed automatic transmission to form a very solidly functioning drivetrain. Both power steering and power front disc brakes are on board, so this classic pickup is an easy driver and can stop promptly on its set of 15 American Racing wheels outfitted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires.
