There are even NASCAR-style details, like the windshield reinforcements and the large rear view mirror. Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8. Its larger than anything available in this generation Regal, and the displacement gets it much closer to the NASCAR regulation size of the time. It even has all the right go-fast goodies, like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and headers that add even more power as they connect with the race-style side exhaust. The 700R4 four-speed transmission is a great gearbox to give you stout construction and the usefulness of overdrive. In fact, with power steering, power brakes, and front discs, this NASCAR-style machine is really a fine all-around cruiser.
