Classic Car Overview
Up for sale is my beloved Porsche 928 survivor. It was a non-running car that my father and I rescued back in the early 2000's. The electrical system and fuel system all had to be gone-through thoroughly. We have poured a lot of TLC into this car over the years and this is the end result - a reliable driver that I'd trust on long highway journeys.
Ever since then, the car has been garage kept and well maintained. It just had a recent service where the following work was completed:
Timing belt, water pump and tensioner
Thermostat and associated seals
Valve cover seals and camshaft seals
New injector o-rings
New fuel tank hoses
New clutch slave cylinder
Intermediate plate adjustment (on clutch assembly)
It has its quirks and is by no means perfect - the clearcoat is peeling, there is some rust around the rear windows, and the dashboard lights don't work. However, this car has a lot going for it. The car is mechanically sound, and the interior is in great shape for a car this age. Porsche's ergonomics and futuristic design of the time will have you feeling like an 80's star as you cruise down the highway in this exotic feeling car.
