Classic Car Overview
The car is finished in Copper Brown Metallic and features a removable Targa roof panel that was refurbished under current ownership. Additional exterior details include fog lights, dual side mirrors, a black Targa bar, and rear bumperettes.
The 16 BBS RS alloy wheels with gold-finished centers and polished lips were mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires and installed under current ownership. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors. Service since 2024 included replacing the brake hoses, front brake calipers, and all four sets of brake pads.
The front bucket seats and folding individual rear seats are upholstered in tan leather, and the seat foam was replaced under current ownership. Appointments include air conditioning, a digital rearview mirror, a Pursuit GPS tracking system, power windows, and a Bluetooth-capable Blaupunkt cassette stereo linked to a JL Audio amplifier and a custom sound system. The blower fan relay and shifter bushings were replaced under current ownership.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as an 85-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 41k miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership. The steering shaft bushing was recently replaced.
The 3.0-liter flat-six was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque and features Bosch fuel injection. Work in 2024 consisted of changing the oil, recharging the air conditioning refrigerant, adjusting the valve clearances, and replacing the fuel filter, fuel line, battery, valve cover gaskets, accessory drive belts, and spark plugs.
A set of 16 black Fuchs-style wheels will accompany the car.
