Beautiful & no cost spared West Coast Porsche 911 Super Carrera. This vehicle is a 3-owner car that spent the majority of its life in New Mexico and Southern California. Post restoration mileage 2K miles. Original speedometer included with the mileage stamp pre restoration (150k). This car has been worked on by only the finest Porsche mechanics and craftsmen the Porsche culture of California has to offer today. The car has ice cold factory AC system, no noises, no rattling, and exactly what you would expect for a well cared for 911 SC in a summer yellow color. The paint is original & hard to find Talbot Yellow and up-close has imperfections and light patina as desired by the current owner, but amazing and unique nonetheless. The interior has been completely redone by the 356/911 specialists Tony Garcia at Autobahn Interiors in San Diego. Included in the interior restoration is classic period correct Porsche Tartan or Plaid inserts on the front seats, rear seats, door cards and key chain. The steering wheel was also re-wrapped in leather in a wider grip style. The windshield was removed for dashboard restoration, and the headliner was replaced. Over $28K. The engine and gearbox are fresh, with a top end overhaul, heads resurfaced, powder coating, installation of Mahle Motorsport pistons, and a SSI/Dansk sport exhaust, upgraded from a 3.0L to a 3.3L all completed by Jeff Erikson at Aase Motors/Porsche in Orange County Ca. Built for driving performance with the original DNA of the car still intact. Not a race car. Over $35K.. The car pulls hard, sounds great and the gearbox is reminiscent of a smooth shifting 930 Turbo. The car was then sent to Steve Johnson at Johnsons Suspension & Alignment in Torrance Ca. to go through the suspension, replace or repair and any parts needed, and set the car up with a big canyon set up ideal for driving in the foothills and canyon roads of Southern California. New Dunlop classic square side tires were also installed on the car. Steve Schwartz at La Jolla, Ca Audio completed a restoration of the sound system with factory style speakers and look, and a Blaupunkt SQR-46 new factory look head unit. $3.5K.
