The car was introduced at the 1979 New York auto show and was slated to have a production of only 5,000 units. However, 6,668 were produced during the two-year run. 1980 was the final year of the MGB, and to send it off in style, MG made only 1,000 Limited Edition cars. Finished in triple black, the car is powered by the original 1.8L 4-Cylinder engine mated to a 4-Speed manual gearbox with OD.

Some noteworthy features include a rear luggage rack, Limited Edition plaque on glovebox, nice convertible soft top, upgraded exhaust, aftermarket radio, and nice chrome finishes.
