VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

Classic Car Overview

A nice, clean, locally owned car......60,000 well cared for miles since new (around 1,500 per year average), excellent body and show quality maroon paint, tan interior, modern stereo/CD, modern air conditioning, Rostyle mag wheels, new 175R14 Radials, runs and drives like new. AND looks great.

And absolutely dead stock.....single Stromberg carb, original air pump, essentially the same as when it left the factory.

Air conditioning has just been fully serviced and makes this car a worthy alternative to a contemporary car for daily use of trips/vacations.

As a sweet little, fun touring sports car, has its virtues. Starts instantly, runs perfectly, drives very well, zero smoke, perfect oil pressure, everything works electrically, recently replaced radiator and a full service, literally ready to go.

AND as a late model MGB, is thoroughly factory rust proofed (and not a spec of rust underneath), has front and rear sway bars, electronic ignition, better cooling system, bigger gauges, a working clock, smooth engine, better gearbox, on and on and on.

Of course, IF one likes this car and wants changes, modifications, alternations, or whatever, it is our specialty. More power? Sure, we can install a set of racing headers, a new intake manifold, and a new 32/36 DGV Weber carb. Want better handling? We can lower the car to the pre 1975 ride height. More classic look? We can convert to 14" or 15" center lock wire wheels (or Minilite bolt on alloy wheels). Want to make the car lighter and improve the exterior look? Fine...we can perform a complete chrome bumper conversion. On and on. And a buyer can pick and choose as he wishes.

Best of all, the car is a wonderful starting point being rust free, great paint and interior, and excellent mechanics.

Just in, being serviced, and ready for sale,
