1980 CJ-7 GOLDEN EAGLE: JOM93E013593
This is a REAL DEAL/BORN-AS Golden Eagle (not a poser) that has been in my collection since 1996. Original refurb by Collins Bros. [a.k.a. Coffee Walk] with Olympic White (9B) repaint, new graphics (w/o eagle) YJ half doors and a mechanical freshen-up.
In the 29-years since I have replaced, rebuilt, or upgraded every functional and cosmetic component, w/OE or better; except frame and body tub.
I have a complete ownership history; Originally in Denver, towed behind a motorhome. Made its way to Dallas area thru two owners; Never in a rust-belt state.
The original 304 V8 is completely fresh and strong. T-176 4-Speed, drive shafts, X-Fer case, Dana-20 diffy have all been gone thru. As a purist I have painstakingly tried not to bastardize this CJ, but certain things just lent themselves to being upgraded: Edelbrock Torquer Cam, Intake, Carb, solid state ignition, headlights, Hi-Amp polished alternator, dual exhaust, alum. radiator, alum. valve covers, stainless brake lines, re-arched leaf springs, steering stabilizer, alum heater core, 3-speed blower. No headers or lift.
The tub floor has full Dynamat, a newer NOS loop carpet kit and Weathertech mats. The seat upholstery is original with some thread pull-thru.
All gauges have been replaced [orig. speedo out at 130K mi.] nice Kenwood audio system w/sub, Steel Horse console added, newer oversize tires. Small cancerous lesion on p/s fender lower; common spot, easy fix. No other rust. Everything works!
Shown with a BestTop SunRider [collapsible sunroof] top with tinted Isinglass, YJ half doors with slider window uppers.

Prefer not to separate, so 'buyer takes-it all'!
This Golden Eagle has been climate garaged since 1996, rarely off roaded and professionally maintained. (four file folders of receipts to prove it!)
