1980 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Coupe Car for sale in Richmond, Virginia 23238
The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.
Classic Car Overview
This car was meticulously restored by the original owner in Texas and has been maintained since by corvette specialists in the Richmond Virginia area . Previous owners have left complete and detailed records of the car including all receipts, all original sale literature, as well as factory accessories and are more than happy to share any of those documents with a serious buyer. The Corvette has always been garaged and driven sparingly since the restoration. Limited by file size please request additional photos and I will have detailed high quality images emailed to you.
There are three elements that make this car stand out from the crowd:
(1) Documentation: The length and detail of the documentation is extremely complete. Details ranging from the Corvette's original purchase date to the original 8 Track demo tape provided with the car at purchase are all present in addition to the many files off receipts and other notes of documentation.
(2) Restoration: Though not a frame off restoration, the meticulous nature of the restoration gives you an idea of the quality lineage of ownership this car has. All original paint codes were used on detail pieces like the block, wheel wells, body panels. Hoses and belts are factory branded with correct emblems and factory stickers are present and correct throughout. Even the glue used to hold the weather stripping was completed in line with how the factory produced it, with a bit of glue showing from the seams.
(3) History: The history of this Corvette is meticulously detailed in the documentation, this is a car that has been owned, cared for, and loved by serious Corvette Collectors. The original owners nearly 30 year history with the car is astounding and puts this Corvette in a unique class.
The L48 option 350CI engine is original and numbers matching and features the L62 performance upgrade. The motor also features the original Rochester Quadrajet Carb that has been professionally rebuilt during the restoration. The Corvette also features the Gykhana Suspension package FE7 Option with OEM AC Delco components.
The paint still maintains it's sheen and brilliance but has marks of road use with small rock chips in small areas.
For any questions please feel free to give me a call or email, I am more than happy to send over some of the detailed and extensive documentation as well as discuss details of the vehicle.
