This gorgeous and original 1979 Trans Am has only 16,000 original and documented miles and is believed to be one of the lowest original mile T/As available in the market today! Purchased from a longtime owner (20 plus years) who garaged kept and pampered it through-out the years and only drove it 3000 miles in all that time! It is also fully documented by its original window sticker and factory build sheet! This car, with its low milage and originality is a rare find and truly a TIME CAPSUL!! CHECK IT OUT!!
The body is completely original, and is very straight, very solid and extremely clean including the floors, trunk and frame. It was Ziebartd from the original selling dealer as noted on its original window sticker and is what probably saved it from having any rust. The Starlight Black paint is 75% original with only a few panels being blended for reasons unknown. We just compounded, buffed and polished it to a deep luster and brilliant show-car shine! It is absolutely beautiful including the trim and glass that are also original and look like new as well.
The original red cloth bucket seat interior looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner and dash. Everything works as it should and it is all absolutely gorgeous and incredibly impressive being 46 years old!
This Trans Am is powered by its original, numbers matching driveline that includes the 403 c.i. - 185 h.p. V8 4bbl. Oldsmobile engine, TH-350 automatic transmission and posi-traction rear-end. It runs extremely smooth and very strong and sounds absolutely amazing! This car truly runs and drives like a 16,000 mile car. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!
Other features and options include, factory T-Tops, cold air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering, original AM-FM 8 Track stereo in place however a new Bluetooth stereo with remote CD changer was installed for updated sound quality. It also has the original Snow-Flake 15 wheels with Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires and new Flowmaster dual exhaust.
This original 1979 Trans Am is truly an amazing and rare find with its low milage and its original body, paint, interior, engine, transmission and rear and everything is all fully documented including the mileage. It is also completely detailed and fully serviced and is now ready to go! DONT MISS IT!!
