Classic Car Overview

One of the most successful sports cars Britain has ever produced, the MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with unitary-construction bodyshell and larger 1.8-litre B-Series engine. Introduced in 1962, the B was a right-first-time design that changed little over the years apart from a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers for 1975. Production of the MGB ceased after the 1980 model year. The classic MGB captures the essence of open-top motoring that has been cherished by enthusiasts for decades. Finished in a stylish Green with an elegant burgundy soft top, this classic 1979 MG MGB is full of charm and character. This classic retains its stock appearance, rolling on its original 14-inch MG wheels that have been thoughtfully painted a color-coordinated green and burgundy, wrapped with Hankook radial 185/65R14 tires. The upgraded custom upholstered cockpit features comfortable white bucket seats with headrests with burgundy piping and matching door panels. The wood-faced dash panel holds a full complement of gauges, a JVC AM/FM/CD player with Bluetooth and a quality wood-rimmed steering wheel that further enhance this MGBs old-world charm. 1.8-Liter engine 4-Speed manual transmission with electric overdrive Front disc brakes Weber Carburetor Cannon intake manifold Upgraded exhaust JVC AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth radio Factory 14-inch wheels Under the bonnet is peppy, great-running 1.8-liter engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission with electric overdrive, Weber carburetor, Cannon intake manifold and upgraded exhaust that makes this car really fun to drive. The engine compartment is tidy and looks great. This 1979 MG MGB is a delightful convertible that is an ideal choice for those who appreciate the heritage and simplicity of classic British sports cars. With its good looks and great running engine, it is ready to offer its next owner a unique and enjoyable driving experience. Call today!
