Classic Car Overview

This CJ5 had a body off rebuilt in 2015 and 2016. I purchased her after the rebuild and continued to improve things. The fuel system is now a Howell fuel injection system, so she runs better than with the stock carburetor. I just finished rebuilding both the rear brakes with new wheel cylinders and totally replaced the front disc brakes and brake master cylinder about three months ago. The 258 Cubic Inch inline six cylinder is a second Jasper replacement that was installed in 2016. The mileage listed is the actual mileage since the Jeep was rebuilt, so I do not know the total mileage on the Jeep. The Borg Warner T18A 4 speed transmission was rebuilt during the total rebuild and first gear is a granny gear. The transfer case is a rebuilt Dana 20 twin stick, so either axle can be engaged or dis-engaged. The Dana 30 front axle is equipped with Warn Premium hubs, and the rear axle is an AMC 20, but I am not sure if the ratio is a 3.54 or a 4.10. The suspension consists of polyurethane bushing throughout. Based on the date stamp on the wheels, May 1979, I think they are originally wheels that have been power coated white, to match the body color. I have replaced a great deal of the screws with stainless screws. In 2018 I installed a new Bestop Supertop, and it is still in good condition, as she's been garaged most of the time since the rebuild. The instrumentation is from Speedhut and they are custom CJ gauges. Type of steering is power steering. An Alpine CD/USB head unit is installed in the center console. Many other things have been done, but too much to mention. As final note, a fair share of ducks have been left in the door handle over the years.
