1979 Datsun 280ZX

1979 Datsun 280 ZXR number 130153. There were only 1009 models made, 500 in 1978 and 500 in 1979. This is the only original owner, fully garaged, California car with documents in the world.

Car is in excellent condition. Car was a daily driver for 25 years. It was repainted years ago in original silver. Decals were removed at that time but has new decals made to the original color and specs by prominent graphics expert in Las Vegas and took 6 months to recreate. Have the CAD for the decals.

All service we done two years ago and has 100 miles done since service by classic cars in Las Vegas. Interior is in very good condition. Some vinyl on the sides will need restoration on rear panel trunk and sun visor. Seats are original and were custom by the dealer, see picture, and have no tears, currently covered by custom sheep skin covers. Car is completely original except the stereo which was replaced years ago. Has AC which was the only option. Has custom Einki wheels but have the original rims and hubcaps for it. No cracks in the dash, steering wheel has crack on the back side. Car has never been in an accident and only ding is a dime on the front fender. Other than that body is nearly perfect. Car was bought and maintained in Sacramento its whole life and remained there until two years ago when it moved to Las Vegas and has been in the family for its full entirety. Have all maintenance records. Had kept for son's 16th birthday but death in the family forces sale.

Only serious inquires only please. Those that know this car and one owner and California car know its value. For collectors and Z car enthusiasts this is the holy grail of Z cars.

The same 1979 280ZXR sold at Mecum in Kissimmee in Jan 2024 for $110,000 from a private collection with 16 miles on it for $110,000.

I got a number of requests for more pictures and video of it running. I have uploaded the additional pictures and have the video of it running, but too large to upload. If interested I can send via email or WhatsApp but car runs perfectly.

I uploaded some of the flaws on the car, the sun visor and some of the vinyl that will need to be replaced. There is minor rust on the top of the windshield and base of the windshield and the single ding on the driver's side fender. This was a daily driver and not a show car, yet. However, it is 100 Percent original, original interior and carpet. Whale tail is perfect and cannot get anymore, no cracks and original rubber. Speedo cable will need to be replaced, it works but does not report correct speed. I've also uploaded the latest service on the car.

I included the original window stickers and dealer additions in a picture as well as pictures of the original manual and all the service records.

Currently, car is in Las Vegas garaged.
