1979 Chrysler Cordoba 360 V8 $9,500 OBO This 1979 Chrysler Cordoba is a very solid, well-maintained example that runs, drives, and handles very well. Powered by a 360ci V8 with a 2-barrel carburetor, the engine starts easily, runs strong, and recently received a tune-up with new plug wires. Compression checks between 125 135 psi on all cylinders. The car is described as reliable enough to drive anywhere. The drivetrain has seen major recent work, including a newly rebuilt transmission, new steering gearbox, and extensive front suspension refresh with ball joints, polyurethane K-frame bushings, and all four new shocks. The braking system has been serviced front and rear, and the car rides on new tires with a new battery. The exhaust system from the mufflers back is new. Additional features include power windows, power door locks, and a power drivers leather seat, which works properly and remains in great condition. All gauges and electrical systems function correctly. The original radio with 8-track player works, adding period charm. The A/C needs a recharge and does not currently hold vacuum for extended periods, and the speed control works intermittently. The body is very solid, finished in new two-tone paint, and topped with a new vinyl roof. Exterior updates also include new door mirrors and door handles. Comfortable, dependable classic Chrysler with extensive recent mechanical work completed.
