We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the left motor mount, spark plugs, head light dimmer switch, fan clutch, alternator, and much more.
The previous owner spent over 8000 dollars on this corvette in the last couple of years. He replaced the exhaust, headers, mufflers, trailing arms, strut rods, idler arm, tie rod ends, upper and lower control arm bushings, ball joints, head light canisters, brake calipers, brake pads, brake hoses, master cylinder, and much more. He also had the transmission rebuilt.
This corvette runs and drives really nice. It will make someone a fun car to cruise around in.
1979 was the highest production year for the C3 generation of the corvette.
