The Most Desirable Corvette Ever?

The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!

The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview

All Original, all numbers matching 1979 Corvette. I purchased this Corvette in 1995 from my parents. They purchased the car in 1986 from the first owner. I have work receipts going back to the first owner. Its never been used as a daily use car, only on nice weather days. Its never been driven in snow, always stored in a garage. The car starts, engine runs great and transmission shifts as it should through all 3 gears. The car was built in St. Louis in January 1979, painted Frost Blue (code 28) with a dark blue leather interior (code 292). The engine is a L-48 (350 cubic Inch) 195 hp backed with a 3 speed turbo 350 automatic transmission. The car has 56,600 miles on it now. The interior is in good condition however there is a hole in the carpet on the passenger side floor (under the original floor mat). The paint has a few rock chips and scratches from use over 37 years however is still shines great, no cracks in the paint. It looks very nice but not perfect paint, it is the original lacquer factory paint. The exhaust has its original catalytic converter, the pipes and mufflers were replaced about 10 years ago from the cat back. The car has its original AM/FM stereo with power antenna, original wheels and all components under the hood. The car has AC (R-12) that is in need of a charge, its all there, worked a few years ago. I like to drive the car with the T-Tops off but if you want cold AC, convert it over to R-134A. The car has 2 sets of T-Tops. The original tops painted to match the car with the original leather storage bags. Also a set of Saratoga glass tinted tops. All gauges work, the clock keeps perfect time (rebuilt with a quartz movement by the first owner about 1985) Please call me for further questions at (937)506-8650. Asking $9,100
