Onyx!A comprehensive frame off restoration, with almost every part being reconditioned or replaced, was completed around 10 years ago. Only 400 miles on the build, and over $35k spent on parts alone!!!Refinished in black with gray Z28 decals and black interior. The body and paint are in excellent condition. The previous owner preferred the looks of a 1980 Z28 instead of a 79, so during the restoration, he used the fenders and hood from an 80.All new black interior with Autometer gauges, and an AMAZING sound system! It has a Kenwood head unit, MQ Quart 6.5 speakers in the doors, MB Quart 6x9 speakers in the rear deck, MB Quart amplifiers and Alpine subwoofers.Powered by a 405hp GM Performance Parts 5.7L LS6 crate engine! To retain some of the old school vibe, a GMPP/Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor kit was added, along with a Pace PAC LS engine front accessory drive kit with HEI ignition. This thing sounds MEAN with Edelbrock ceramic coated long tube headers, an x-pipe, and 3 Pypes Stainless Steel Race Pro dual exhaust system.Power is sent to the ground with an American Powertrain 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, a heavy duty SFI flex plate, 1900rpm stall converter, cryogenically treated slip yoke and solid u-joints, etc. and a Strange 9 rear end with 31 spline HD axles!ALL new factory Z28 front and rear suspension with KYB shocks and Cal Tracs subframe connectors. It also has a Billet Specialties power steering reservoir and Flex-a-lite aluminum radiator.Other options include 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering and t-tops! Sitting on a set of black 17 American Racing PR106 wheels with 235/45/17 tires in front and 275/45/17 tires in back. This Camaro has way too many parts to list here.
