When is the best time to buy a classic Beetle convertible? The best time is when summer is over and we are heading into the cool, cold and then frigid months. Offered here is a very nice 1978 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible priced right. The exterior is Alpine white; the leatherette interior is Opal white and the convertible top is blue. It is powered by a fuel injected 1588 cc four cylinder engine connected to a four speed manual transmission.
The car is in good condition and runs well. There are some paint chips and interior wear commensurate with its age. The car has been serviced by the highly respected independent VW service shop Munks Motors, in Waterford, MI. Service records are available. The tires are new. At present, the heater is inoperative.
The car was previously located in California. The present owner purchased the car fifteen years ago and brought it to Michigan. where it has been pleasure driven in nice weather. It has been stored winters in a heated garage.
