The FJ43 is nearly the same as its slightly smaller FJ40 brother but it has a longer wheelbase. Produced until 1984 the FJ43 has been able to command somewhat of a premium vs. the FJ40 because of its more limited availability than the FJ40. Under the hood is a 4.2L 2F inline six which combined with its 4-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case gives plenty of gear ratios to choose from to allow its driver to get in and out of places that lesser vehicles wouldnt even attempt.
