VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

Classic Car Overview

We are selling our amazing MGB. This car is fun, fun, fun. We bought it a few years ago from a gentleman that had it restored and then life got in the way. Although not perfect, the body and paint on this car are in very, good condition. To be completely transparent, the only flaws in the body/paint are a crack in the sheet metal in front of the driver side mirror, some rub/paint chipping between the driver side door and the front fender and a small split in the paint on the rear quarter panel. The car is equipped with the overdrive, but apparently it was never wired up when the car was rewired with all new wiring. I attempted to get it all wired up and I found the correct wires, but I wasn't completely sure how to correctly wire in the overdrive switch. There is not an overdrive toggle on the shifter knob which makes me believe he added the overdrive during the rebuild and restoration. The car leaves a small oil drop when parked but it has never been enough to go have it checked out. The interior is in great condition. Seats and carpets are all excellent. The dashboard has the standard heat cracking, but fortunately the replacement dashes are pretty reasonable at Moss Motors. All of the gauges are clear and in working order. Note: the speedometer gauge was not replaced because it shows original mileage. But a new speedometer is certainly available through Moss Motors.
Finally, here is a list of what I know has been done to this vehicle:
1) All new exhaust system;
2) New fuel tank and fuel lines;
3) Automatic fuel pump (car is not fuel injected);
4) New brakes (disk in front, drum in back);
5) New upholstery (seats and carpet);
6) New premium canvas top (windows are very clear and not hazy);
7) New wiring throughout.

I'm sure there are many more upgrades, but I just don't know enough about MGB's to confidently identify them.

I have included many photos, so hopefully you can get a very good feel for the car's overall condition. Again, it is a 33 year-old car, so it is not perfect. But it has provided many years of fun drives.
