This is an outstanding survivor that looks and performs practically new. It has a great story: The original owner was a woman that never married or had children. When she was in assisted living she told her goddaughter about a Lincoln she owned that had been on display in the Buffalo Transportation Museum. Until then nobody else knew about the car. The goddaughter was shocked because she actually visited the museum and remembered seeing the car. She inherited the car and sold it to the next owner which was a Lincoln collector. He serviced the car and put about 3,000 miles on it. You are getting the best of both worlds: a mint looking survivor that has been serviced and is ready to be enjoyed! EXTERIOR: The Mark V is a striking example of a luxury car in the 1970s. Its long hood with hideaway headlights and a big chrome grille in front of it, distinctive opera windows and fender louvers on each side, vertical blade taillights and the signature continental in back contribute to its bold style. This one is remarkably clean and its original! The body has no rust or damage, not even a door dent. The original black paint still looks like new, even the original red painted pinstripe. Even the jambs are clean and the weatherstrips are soft. The bumper fillers are not damaged. Overall the chrome and trim looks great. It has the Vilano full vinyl top is like new. Original crystal clear glass. The tires were replaced, its ready for the road, although you will feel like you are on a cloud! INTERIOR: I want this seat in my living room! The dark red leather is glove soft and still like new. Actually this entire interior is still practically brand new from carpet to headliner. The entire dash area looks immaculate. Its not cracked, faded or worn. The plush carpets look fresh along with the original floor mats. The headliner is still tight as a drum. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Outstanding preservation, this original engine compartment is clean. It is 100% in tact from the vacuum lines, air cleaner duct work and even assembly line stickers. The 400 motor runs smooth. It has been serviced with new belts, hoses, fluids and the air conditioning was charged. Other features include cruise control, power steering and brakes. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Still 100% original and in excellent shape. Under the trunk lid and the jamb have pristine paint, the assembly stamps are not even worn off. The trunk light works and the weatherstrip is soft. Inside is lined wall to wall. Thats the original spare and jack, I dont think its ever been out of the trunk! UNDERSIDE: Its very well preserved and clean under this car. Theres absolutely no rotten metal, all smooth and clean floors. There are still assembly line paint markings, it even still has a paper tag on the transmission! The fuel tank, sending unit and fuel pump look like theyve been replaced. I believe it has the original exhaust which includes a muffler and a resonator to assure it is quiet. The brakes were replaced, it features disc at all four of the wheels. Looking up at the motor it is clean. It has a C6 heavy duty automatic transmission and the original rear end has cruising gears. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason. This is an amazing time capsule, one of the cleanest survivors Ive seen! Get behind the wheel and find out what true luxury really is. This is truly a rare opportunity. For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide is my professional opinion based on my experience with these vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase the car and share our teams insights. Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be refunded, and youll receive a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Climate control Power steering Power disc brakes Power windows Power seat Power antenna Cruise control Lounge seats Leather upholstery Defroster group Intermittent wipers Am-Fm stereo Full vinyl top Pinstripes Side moldings Protection group Marti Report
