Classic Car Overview
The engine is a 360 V-8, with the impressive QuadraTrac, and it is all-time 4WD. A lot has been done with this Jeep since I bought it in 2016 to make it and keep it running great. It has been my daily commuter for the last five years and it starts up every time. I am not super mechanical, but have receipts of all the work that has been done to it. This is a great time to buy this Jeep, as the transmission was rebuilt two years ago and has about 6,000 miles with the new transmission. The transmission shop expects the new transmission to last at least 100,000 miles. Within 2024 the front axel has been fortified and the rear axel has been rebuilt within the past two months. It easily passes smog. I expect this Jeep to keep running great for many years to come!
Other features include a new windshield, all new weatherstripping, and a manual rear window/tailgate regulator (the electric tailgates are notorious for going out on these Jeeps). It does have an AC unit (not currently working).
In looking at other similar Jeep Cherokee Chief comparisons, this appears to be a fair price. I am not looking to make money on this Jeep, just looking to get back some of what I put into it before it goes to someone else.
