Classic Car Overview

Rare combination with Ford's legendary 300 6-cyl engine, 4 speed manual transmission, and a 7x10 metal flat bed that is a dual cylinder PTO dump bed. This is a simple work truck that gets good MPG compared to big V8s but also has the torque Ford's 300-6 is known for. Engine idles and accelerates smoothly without lifter or rod noise. Transmission also shifts smoothly. Lots of upgrades in the past 2 years including plugs, cap/rotor, gas tank, radiator, water pump, professionally rebuilt carb, battery, rear shocks, RedHead steering gearbox, rear diff pinion seal, power steering & coolant flush, cab clearance lights, floor mats, seat cover. Doors open and close like new (no sag.) No cracked glass, tires are good. Interior is average (typical wear-n-tear) but all lights and gauges work. 2 heavy-duty hitch receivers with trailer brakes and big front disc brakes. No big dents but there is some rust as seen in pix. It's getting really hard to find these trucks that start, stop, run, and haul well without obvious evidence of past abuse. Great work or farm truck will last forever with minimal maintenance and parts are still easy to find. Owned 2 years, only drove 1500 miles, selling because we just don't use it as much as we thought we would and we already have too many trucks! 5 digit odometer reads 02344 but has undoubtedly rolled over. No scammers, I know all your games and will only reply to real people asking real questions who want to come see it. No VIN reports or other tomfoolery. Thanks for looking!
