Classic Car Overview

It feels like it is on rails! I exclaimed to Jose, my favorite master technician, as we drove down the winding roads of Kenneth Square, Pennsylvania countryside.
This 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS Spider is in great driving condition with everything working as it should. Watch the video on YouTube to feel this experience. https://youtu.be/CUT93TzNlFo
This Anthracite Gray with Black leather interior and Black Targa top, its V8 rated at 296 hp with 238 lb-ft of torque through a five-speed H-patterned manual transmission. Reverse is straight forward and first straight back sort of like the old Porsche 928. Unlike the Porsche, this is a gated transmission and feels and shifts easily. Rated at 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 171 mph. Original MSRP was $117,400. Stated Miles Per Gallon: 14/23 mpg Observed MPG 16/21 mpg Curb Weight: 3252 lbs Lay out Mid-Engine/ Rear Wheel Drive.
The current owner purchased in 1982 privately in Beverly Hills, California. Books and paperwork indicate services were completed in Beverly Hills, California by the previous owner. The current owner moved back east and had services at Algar Ferrari in Rosemont, Pennsylvania as well as recent services at Scuderia Performante. 7/8/2021 Scuderia Performante replaced the steering rack and bushings and upgraded the AC. The timing belt service was completed at 84,519 along with a new alternator and oil and filter.
This particular Ferrari is a beautiful example of what this iconic sports car epitomizes. Offered in the sale is the original tool kit, Ferrari seat covers, books, service binder and targa top cover.
