1978 Excalibur Series III

Up for sale we have a 1978 Factory built Excalibur Series III Phaeton finished in a beautiful two-tone ivory and vintage maroon paint and equipped with hard top convertible and side curtains. Built on a custom heavy duty steel frame and powered by a 454 7.4L Big Block V-8 engine mated to an automatic transmission, powerful motor running good and clean engine bay, fitted with power steering and power brakes for a nicer driving experience. This Excalibur comes with brand new "Gangster Style" wide whitewall tires and 6 super clean real wire wheels, a lot of prewar goodies all around the vehicle such as the functional fender exhaust pipes on both sides of the hood, dual spares with matching two-tone covers and rear view mirrors mounted on top, big and solid prewar style grill with Excalibur hood ornament, rear mounted vintage leather trunk, functional chrome headlights and spotlights, two piece aluminum split hood, and much more to be mentioned. The interior offers tan real leather seats in the front with an additional real leather bench behind the folding seats that could accommodate extra passengers, clean black carpeting throughout, Kenwood stereo system, overall a nice and spacious interior. This Series III Phaeton comes with a hardtop that has been painted to match the two-tone color scheme, as seen in the photos it can be worn with or without the soft canvas cover and it looks great either way, this is a rare feature for Excaliburs as the majority of them are unfinished underneath the soft cover. Also included in the sale is a tonneau cover to help protect the cockpit, a matching cover for the rear trunk and the Bows/Frame for the soft top as well as the Excalibur Series III Owners Manual and some miscellaneous literature. Overall a beautiful Prewar Style Phaeton, in excellent condition for a car built back in '78 !
