Classic Car Overview
Project car needing to be finished. This listing is for a combined sale of two cars, the red one that is 90% complete, and the purple one that is a donor car.
This car has been in my family since about 1983. I am third owner.
Body: Quarter panels replaced with authentic Nissan parts. The rocker panels were replaced with custom bent steel in heavier gauge. The paint color is Mazda RX7 Vintage Red from the early 90s. Was sprayed in 2005 and has been covered in a garage ever since.
The entire chassis has been gone through from motor to rear end.
Motor: Rebuilt L20B w/.040 over bore, flat top pistons. Oversized stainless valves, and a mild performance cam regrind. Weber 32/36 Carb, and header. The motor is broken in barely, and has never seen service since rebuild.
Gearbox: dog leg 5-speed, input and output shaft bearings replaced.
Rear end: stock open dif with new pinion bearings and side bearings.
Interior seats were recovered in the 90s and need to be cleaned.
Wheels: 14x6.5 Riken, very lightweight at about 13lbs/wheel
Tires were new when installed back in 2006
Spare crankshaft, and 200sx disc brake rear end parts as well.
Chassis has around 143k miles on it.
