--Beige Metallic with Biege upholstery, Brown carpeting, 2.8 Liter EFI inline 6 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual gearbox, 22,000 miles and two owners from new! Nissan released the Datsun 280Z model for the North American market in the 1975 model year. engine size was increased to 2.8 liters and a Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection system was added. The 1977 and 1978 models received bumpers with recessed channels added that blended into corrugated- or accordion-style black rubber extension trim. Also new for the 1977 model year, 280Zs no longer received the full-size spare tire, and instead had a space saver spare and a larger fuel tank. In late 1976 and for most 197778 models, an optional five-speed manual transmission was available alongside the four-speed manual and the three-speed automatic options. It included a 5-speed emblem on the left bottom edge of the rear hatch. This 280z was sold new by Stephen Datsun in Bristol CT to Robert Forcier of Forestville, CT who kept the car until 2023 when it was sold to its second and most recent owner. Very well kept, original condition and maintained regardless of use. This presents a very rare opportunity to acquire the final year of the iconic series of Z cars. Fitted with ice cold Air conditioning, 5 speed gearbox and comes complete with original bill of sale, tools, jack, spare, owner?s manual and warranty/service booklet.
