Classic Car Overview
Originally restored about 15 years ago, which involved a total disassembly / restoration of the entire car. Then, in 2019, the following major items were installed: Datsun Spirit Stage II engine, Fujitsubo stainless header and exhaust system, rebuilt transmission, lowering springs, upgraded sway bars, Koenig Rewind wheels (tires in 2023), backdated (240z) bumpers with bodywork to close holes in lower rear valance, Skillard lower grill, and much more. Most work in 2019/2020 was done by Bennett Coachworks in Milwaukee WI. Receipts from the 2019/2020 work alone add to ~$50k. I have receipts for the original restoration as well. Dash is un-cracked (OEM, not a dash cover). Radio is a Retrosound unit, but I have the original radio as well. A/C works okay (I rarely use it). Brakes are original disks in front and drums in the rear with new pads. Glass is all original. Paint was done around 2013, single stage enamel, with some imperfections. I'd say the paint is a 7.5 / 10. This car is a driver. The odometer shows ~95,000 miles, but only 5,000 have been put on since the engine was rebuilt and the other restoration work in 2020. Car drives strong and handles well. Happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos.
