Vehicle Overview
The car has been in our family since it was purchased new by my grandfather while he was living in Germany. It was originally shipped overseas from the United States and spent its early years on the Autobahn before eventually returning to the U.S.
It has been garage-kept throughout its life and comes with extensive service records dating back to the late 1970s, documenting decades of careful ownership and maintenance.
Also included are the original owners manual and period promotional materials from when the car was purchased.

@CarNutz: Runs and drives great.
Does she run at all ?
@CarGuy2026: Yes, the car has been driven very little over the past couple years. I can add pictures of the undercarriage tomorrow—I don’t have a lift, so I will try my best. The original owner (my grandfather) lived much of his life in Florida with the vehicle until I owned the vehicle. I registered it in Georgia. Because the car was garaged and not driven often, the transmission pump seal (the larger outer gasket) got brittle and started to leak. I went out for a drive and first gear felt like it was lagging behind, I took it in and the first gear planet was in really rough shape. The cost to repair was only slightly more than a professional rebuild, so I opted for a rebuild. I can talk on the phone and give some more context whenever.
Hi, I understand that the mileage is original and can be documented by service records. It appears that the car has only been driven approximately 1500 miles in the last eight years? Would you be able to provide pics of the undercarriage? It shows that the car is located in Georgia, yet the service records show Florida? What was the transmission issue that it needed to be rebuilt with such low mileage? Let me know if you would be up for a phone call and I will send my number. Have a great day ! Thank you !
