Classic Car Overview

1978 Corvette. Original black L82 with black leather interior. Vehicle was resto-modded approximately 25 years ago as a show car known as the Viking Vette. At that time the car was repainted and the L82 engine with 220HP was replaced by a factory ZZ4 engine with 350HP, alum head, forged crank, and roller cam. The interior and carpet were also restored. To keep the high performance engine cool, an aluminum radiator with twin electric fans was added. The engine has chrome accessories and is show worthy. The underside of the hood also has a striking mural, for which the car was named. Headlights work as they should as do all gauges except the clock. AC has been restored but not currently working. Recently installed Custom Autosound stereo with CD player and speaker system at cost of $1,000. Also replaced flowmaster mufflers with stock mufflers so could hear the stereo. Mileage unknown because odometer broken, but estimated mileage since restoration estimated at 20K. Car is very streetable and shows well, but has some wear. Remember, the vehicle is 48 years old and restored 25 years ago. Corvette drives and handles like a stock 1978 Corvette, but is much quicker. You may find a less expensive Corvette, but not one as well equipped and in the condition of this one.
