Now available is this highly preserved 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car Edition, showing only 50 original miles. Finished in its factory-correct two-tone Black and Silver exterior with red striping over Silver leather interior, this Corvette is one of the most iconic special editions produced during the C3 era. Built to commemorate the 62nd Annual Indianapolis 500 held on May 28, 1978, this example remains in remarkable time-capsule condition.



Powered by a 350ci L48 V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, this Pace Car features factory equipment including front and rear spoilers, mirrored glass T-tops, special aluminum wheels, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. The car retains its original graphics package and has been meticulously stored as a collector example since new.



The interior features silver leather bucket seats, power windows, tilt-telescoping steering column, factory radio, air conditioning, and the original gauge cluster showing just 50 miles. All trim, glass, decals, and finishes remain consistent with long-term preservation.



With only 6,502 Indy Pace Car editions produced in 1978 and very few surviving in this mileage and condition, this Corvette represents a rare investment opportunity and a significant piece of Chevrolet and Indianapolis 500 history.
