1978 was the 25th year for the Chevrolet Corvette and General Motors took advantage of the Silver Anniversary of Americas Sports Car! Horsepower & handling were both improved over the 1977 model. The conventional Corvette roofline which has been around since the cars last major body change in 1968 is gone now replaced by a neat fastback version that will be the only model of the Corvette to be sold in 1978. This classic white example boasts a blue leather interior with a tilt-telescopic steering wheel. The standard L-48 350 cubic inch displacement engine is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission.
