1978 Chevrolet Corvette
Convertible Car for sale in Leander, Texas 78641
The 1967 Corvette is considered the most-loved Corvette ever produced. The combination of classic C2 styling, along with an incredible array of powertrain and comfort options, makes it one of the most desirable Corvettes ever. Not bad for a car that was never supposed to be made!
The ZR-1's production run from 1990-95 was one of the most exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts in recent memory. In the mid-1980s, rumors of a "King of the Hill" Corvette began to leak out of Detroit and into America's speed shops and dealerships.

Classic Car Overview
1978 Chevrolet Corvette $16,650
Pro Street 1978 Corvette Pace Car, Limited Edition. Ok I must admit, I have always thought this car to be one of the best looking sports cars ever produced. I was disappointed in the performance side of it, so I decided to change that, and created a 10.71 ¼ mile ET Street Thumper. This hot rod now runs and handles with the best!! 542 HP 398 SB motor. GM “Bow-TieNASCAR block, with Callie’s steel crank, drilled and lightened, balanced, with Crower steel rods and JE 10.5:1 Pistons. Comp true roller cam, Dart AL angle heads, Edlebrock manifold ported and flowed to match heads. CN 950 CFM carb. BG 400 FP. TCI race trans with 4800 Sullivan stall. Tom’s chrome molly rear end, with drive shaft loops. Mallory Ign., MSD 6AL with Rev control, Hurst Line Lock, 3exhaust with Flowmaster for a rumble sound. Vette breaks suspension on front end with KY shocks and FG cross spring. Too much to list. One of a kind 78 pro-street corvette that can run a 11.42 ¼ as is or 10.71 with shot of NOS. Custom matching interior and hand rubbed lacquer paint make this a show quality vette and tire burner. This car has been in our family since 1981 and had around 39K miles when we bought it, now 64k miles. Original long block and seats can go with the car. Come take this hot rod home and enjoy it.
