1978 Chevrolet C/K Truck K10

The 1978 Chevrolet K10 was a half-ton, four-wheel-drive pickup from the third-generation of C/K trucks commonly referred to as the Square Body era. It was a popular and reliable model known for its durability and off-road capability. This particular example has been completely gone through and is better than new. The heart of this Square Body is a 383ci V8 Stroker engine estimated to put out over 400hp. It was freshly rebuilt and fit with aluminum heads less than 3,000 miles ago. It is fed via a 750cfm Brawler 4bbl carb with electric choke and an Edelbrock Performer intake and its sparked by an MSD electronic ignition. Exhaust is handled by a set of performance headers and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its dual 3 Flowmaster FloFX performance exhaust. When the engine was installed, it was mated to a T350 tranny that was also completely gone through and performance built just before being installed. At the same time both of the 12 bolt differentials and the transfer case were completely gone through as well. The suspension was replaced with a new 6 Rough Country suspension lift complete with all the goodies including new drive shafts, new leaf springs as well as new steering stabilizers and a frame support kit. It rolls on 35 x 15 Super Swamper tires mounted to 12 wide aluminum racing rims that give it a menacing stance. The interior boasts a nice list of new items which includes the seat, door panels, dash pad, carpeting and floor mats. It has a nice set of gauges mounted under the dash for water temp, volts and oil pressure as well as an oversized tachometer with a shift light. You will also appreciate the billet window cranks, the billet dash insert and the leather wrapped billet steering wheel. To finish it off we installed a new Custom Autosound Slidebar BT 300-watt stereo with their kick panels a new set of Diamond Audio DMD65C component speakers. It was painted in a sweet Black Cherry Pearl Metallic that complements the polished rims, Super Hoop side steps and the excellent chrome detailing all around.
