Nice old 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Coupe for sale. This one-family-owned Biarritz was sold new at Bianco Cadillac in Corte Madera on May 28th, 1978. It is finished in Demitasse Brown Metallic with a Camel Metallic vinyl top and a brown interior. The car includes an owner's manual, original purchase documents, warranty and maintenance books, a leather key fob, and 1978 Cadillac dealer brochures.

The original 500ci V8 starts, idles, and runs smoothly with plenty of power. The transmission was recently serviced, and shiting is spot-on. Brake pads and shoes are new, and stopping is excellent. Some of the recent work includes a new battery and alternator, vacuum lines, new power steering and fuel hoses, fresh oil change, and a new fuel pump, making it a nice performing car.

The exterior is rust-free and straight. The car was repainted in its original color many years ago and looks presentable while not perfect. The plastic front and rear corner body fillers need to be replaced. One of the front replacement pieces and new lower trunk fillers will be included in the sale. With a little bit of work, the exterior appearance should improve significantly. It rides on P235/75R 15s. The front tires were replaced in 2022 and have 95%+ tread remaining; the rears show plenty of treads, though they should probably be replaced soon due to age.

The interior is tidy and in good working order. The door panels, cards, leather, carpeting, and headliner are nicely preserved. The Air conditioning is charged and blowing cold, and the climate system works well. The radio is in good working order, though it needs a new antenna. All lighting, including the Centinal, is in good working order, including the blinkers, though the left blinker does not currently auto-cancel. The windows move up and down freely, the power door locks are in good working order, and the sunroof opens and closes, though it runs a bit slowly. This interior is very comfortable and in surprisingly good condition, especially for its age.
