The Series 2 Spider represents an important chapter in the history of Alfa Romeo's legendary roadster designed by Pininfarina, combining the classic Italian styling of the Spider with the updated design and features introduced for the second generation.
MECHANICAL:
The car starts up right away and runs well. We just performed an oil change and filter replacement, as well as a complete brake bleed.
EXTERIOR:
Finished in Black, the car presents as an honest example consistent with its age and mileage. The body has been repainted, and we just completed a full exterior detailing.
There are some cosmetic dents and imperfections, as would be expected from a 48-year-old car, but overall the car presents as an attractive driver-quality example.
INTERIOR:
The interior remains largely original. The car is equipped with a cassette stereo and its original Personal wooden steering wheel.
The seats are in good condition, and the tan canvas soft top has been replaced recently.
The Spider is an iconic example of Italian automotive design from the 1970s.It is one of the most recognisable European roadsters of its era.
With 91,200 miles already behind it, this is not a car that needs to be treated like a museum piece. It is an opportunity to own a genuine piece of Alfa Romeo history.
