Incredibly fun and very well done 959 Paris-Dakar Rally Tribute. This tribute car started new as a 1977 911 S Coupe that was converted during a previous ownership to replicate the Porsche 959 driven by Jacky Ickx and Claude Brasseur in the 1985 Paris-Dakar Rally. Body work consists of 959 styled fiberglass panels and vinyl wrapping to replicate the Rothmans #185 livery. A 3.2L Carrera engine was fitted to the car and a 5 speed manual transmission to deliver smooth and ample power for around town and playful driving. Elephant Racing lifted suspension and 16 inch wheels with all-terrain tires give the car an unmistakable stance. Lexan side windows with ventilation sliders were installed as well as lexan headlight covers and faux beacon lights to help complete the overall exterior aesthetic look. The interior received fixed-back racing seats, multi-point harnesses, and a partial roll cage to enhance the feel and character of the car.
